payback i suppose

Just finished a one off challenge between havelock and dannivirke. Playing someone i have never lost to and points up for grabs i quickly went to a 2/0 lead with only 1 more set to win to clench the game. Very poor reffing to both of us frustrated us especially me because i would of wrapped the game up 3/0 im sure. SEVERAL bad calls later i find myself in a 5 setter which means whoever wins he next set takes the game. With an even start things arent looking to bad until i get an accidental elbow from his follow through to my head and i drop to the ground feeling a little concussed. I get off court for a few minutes and get some water. Good to go again (i think) i completely misjudge the ball and am not seeing well. i get another hit to the front of my head this time but carry on. I accidentally hit my opponent in the mouth from my swing and cause his mouth to bleed. Back into the game he is up and i get given a no let which will turn out to be the turning point of the game. Poor and pathetic call once again but this time im not going to just take it, i turn around to the ref and have a go at him. He cant let this one go this way with the way hes been calling all night. Frustrated i lose after a close fought game. There goes 20 points. As i leave the court i kick he rubbish bin in front of me and throw my racket in anger. Reffing is a big part of the game now since the scoring has changed and it really effects how games can go. When people dont know how to reff it makes me angry specially when some calls are obvious so i have to argue to let them know that they are wrong.

Hopefully i can get back my 20 points today when i have another game against a napier team.

Peace out
